Day 2
Ok, now it’s day two stuck at home doing school work. But I think that I get bored at home so this is what I did at home for school. I Folded the washing, Opened the windows + the Curtains, Cleaned my room, Made my Bed and, Went and helped Mum & Dad on the farm. I also finished my Chapter Challenge & I think it’s a !SUPERNOVA! My mum was very helpful with my learning at home. She even wants and printed out some math sheets for me. She also helped me with my spelling. Now I think this home school thing isn’t as bad as I thought I was.
Day 1
The worst thing happened today at school. My School!CLOSED! It was the most heartbreaking thing that I have ever heard. Mr. Fraser came in and told us the heartbreaking news. He said that the school was closed for 4 whole weeks because of the Covid 19 AKA CoronaVirus. Also a few days ago my Best Friend Carlee got homeschooled by her mum (Kate) because of the CoronaVirus. Now I am in self-isolation in my house with my family for 4 weeks so I can’t go to the pools or the Skate Park or anything!
This is my Chapter Challenge for this week. I did Research Centre. I did Research Centre because I could choose whatever task I wanted because I did Research, A with Words, Creation Station and, Digital Design already. Research Centre was to research about Bat's or Waterfalls. I did Research about Bats because I didn't know a lot about Bats so I wanted To learn. We had I do the Chapter Challenge tasks from the other weeks because we didn't read our book because there were a lot of people away on Monday. One thing that I learned about Bats was that there are over 1000 Bat species of Bats in the WORLD! and I think that's pretty cool. Since school was closed I don't have any big pieces of paper so I had an idea to get two normal pieces of paper and taped them together to make a big piece of paper. I house we have a printer so that was lucky because I had to print pictures of Bats and my info onto my pieces of paper. The most challenging thing was picking the pictures of the Bats for my poster. The easiest thing was drawing all of the colourful dots.
This is Chapter Challenge I did Digital Design. I picked Digital Design because I could choose whatever task I wanted because I did Research, A with Words, Creation Station and, Digital Design already. Digital Design was to make a Fake Texted between two charters in the story. The charters that I chose were Cody's Cowboys and Sal. I chose Cowboys and Sal because Sal doesn't like Cody's Cowboys so I thought it would be a juice conversation. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I didn't just make and Fake Text and not do anything else. So I actually made a real-life phone. The thing that was the most challenging was painting the back of the phone. The easiest thing was making the phones look old. (I think a did a SUPERNOVA!)
This is my Chapter Challenge for this week. I did Creation Station. Creation Station was to make the Waterfall scene. I did Creation Station because it was the only thing that I had to do because I want to leave Pick & Mix and Fantastic Favourite for last. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I didn't just draw the scene I acutely made it out of Cardboard & Paper. The thing that was the most challenging was making Sal, Joe, Francie & little Humphry. The easiest thing was hot gluing the Water to the cave. ( I think I did a SUPERNOVA!)
This is Chapter Challenge I did Digital Design. Digital Design was to make a scene from the story so far! The scene that I did was when Sal comes up to speak in fount of all of the opposing teams & Joe, Francie & little Humphry. I did Digital Design because I wasn't here on Monday or Tuesday because of Cricket & Swimming Sports. But I still got my Chapter Challenge done and dusted. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I Designed Joe, Francie, Little Humphry & Carrot and the audience & the Mayor & Sal on the stage. I Didn't trace anything but Carrot. I didn't even trace Sal, Joe, Francie, Little Humphry & the Mayor. The thing that was most challenging was printing it out and putting it onto a piece of paper. The easiest thing was putting the info in the clouds. (I think I did a SUPERNOVA!)
