My Report on Jean Batten!


My Hero is Jean Batten!

Jean Gardner Batten was named Jane but was changed over time and now goes off the name Jean. Jean Batten’s date of birth is September 15th of 1909, Sadly Jean Batten died on the 22nd of November 1982. She lived until she was 73. Jean Batten was born in Rotorua New Zealand, Jean Batten went to Melmerby School for Young Ladies. Jean Batten had a Father and Two Brothers, However, there's no record of Jean ever Married or had any children. In 1942 Jean Batten enrolled into a girl's boarding school collage in Remuera in Auckland where she studied ballet and piano after becoming an Australian pilot.

In May 1934, Jean Batten successfully flew solo from England to Australia women’s record of England aviator Amy Johnson by over four days.In two of Jean Batten's Flights, a black kitten accompanied Jean Batten that she’d named Buddy. Jean Ballens Profession is a Pianist, an Aircraft pilot.

I chose Jean Gardner Batten because Females can do anything that Males can do if we try hard enough. Jean Battens Quote was Every flyer who ventures across oceans to distant lands is a potential explorers; In his or her breasts burns the same fire that urged the adventures of old to set forth in their sailing ships for foreign lands!
