Day 9

Today is the 31 of March so that means it’s the last day of the month and that means that it's day 9. It also means that my Mum's friend is due tomorrow. It’s VERY EXCITING!!!! Because a newborn baby is now in the Shelley family. Well not now soon. Yesterday I was talking about the Bachelorette and Lily picked Richey and Lecena didn’t pick anybody because she didn’t feel a connection. Anyway Tonight on the Bachelorette they are bringing all of the Bachelor back! So that will be Exciting. The lowlight of my day was finding out that the Zoo Animals miss us visiting them. The Highlight of my day was that I and my Mum did this workout and it was really FUN!

Today is the 30th of March so that means it's been 8 days since the school closed. My Mum’s friend Jordan, she is Pregnant and she is joo the 1st of April. Anyway, I went to the farm with my Dad and we went on the tracker. Also before that, Me, My Mum and My Dad went to shed to hose the yard. Also, I and My Dad found my beanie that fell off YESTERDAY! Tonight is the last night for the Bachelorette. I am REALLY looking forward to it because there are only two people now so we get to see who is the one and only! The lowlight of my day was the print ran out of ink but my mum had more ink so now there's no lowlight anymore. The highlight of my day is that we found my beanie!

It’s been 7 days since school closed! Today I went to the shed AGAIN but this time I went at 7:30 and usually went at 9:00 so I was 2 hours early. Anyway, I was on the 4 wheeler with my Dad and he was going so fast that my beany fell off and it's still on the RACE! So me & my Dad are going to get it soon. Because of the holidays, I have more time to play with my Parrot. I named my Parrot Carrot from The Map Makers Race. But my Parrot isn't like a normal one it's FAKE but she's funny and silly & she talks back. This Morning I helped make breakfast with my mum and I also cleaned up. For Breakfast, I had Eggs, Hashbrowns, and toast.

This is the Quiet Play I did Puzzles. It was pretty hard because the pieces are really weird. But I got there in the end! The hardest thing was finding what piece goes where. The easiest thing was taking the picture.

This is my Art Letter to my Special Someone. The Person that I did the letter to was my Nan nan because she lives in waitakaruru alone so I thought I could make her day.

I miss you so much but I can’t see you any time soon because of Covid 19 AKA CoronaVirus. I don’t want to get sick but I just want to see you one more time before tonight. Sure I can talk to you on the phone but it’s not the same. I wish CRAZY sickness to go away so I can see you again!. This RUDE CoronaVirus being mean to me and I DON’T like it. So I can’t even go to my sports and you can’t ask me how my day was like you always did when the CoronaVirus wasn’t even a THING!!!

Day 6

Today is the first day of the holidays. Most people are happy about the holidays but I don’t like the holidays because I LOVE doing school work. Anyway, you would think that the holidays wouldn't be so soon but because of the CoronaVirus got the holidays moved forward. Today I went to the cowshed and then suddenly Dad comes back from the cowshed and says I already did everything so you can go back home. So I was like I got ready for the cowshed for NOTHING! So I just went back and sat on the couch. 

  

All About Me!

I did an All About me on Google Drawings. I did this because I was thinking about doing something but I didn't know what to do so I did this! The most Challenging thing was thinking about the thing that I would put on my Google Drawing. The easiest thing was finding images to put on it.

Day 5

Today is day 5 and today I went to the cowshed because my Mum had to go to the SuperMarket so I had to do HER job! Also, she was there for HOURS! Because of the CoronaVirus, there are only 10 people allowed inside of the SuperMarket and I think that's CRAZY! But now we have food and water so that’s all that matters. So anyway when I was at the cowshed I was water blasting the yard and the water blaster is really power full so I can barely hold it. So it was OUT OF CONTROL and if I let go of it the water blaster would hit me straight in the FACE so my Dad came and turned the water pump off so I didn’t hurt myself!

My Fitness Circuit

This is my Daily Fitness Circuit. My Fitness Circuit has 15 Star Jumps, 10 Sit-Ups, 24 Seconds for plank, 20 Push-Ups and, 7 Burpees. I will try and do this every day but it won't be easy!

I just finished my Bad Guys book. It was all about there was an evil hamster called Marmalade trying to take over the WORLD! Well, I don't want to spoil the ending for you but I'm just going to say that Piranha miiiiight have eaten too many Bean Burritos well being in a SPACESUIT with Mr. Wolf.

It’s been 4 days since the school closed! Today my Mum & I are going to make some delicious Africans, I think they will be pretty good when we bake them. But I hope that we don’t burn them, like last time! Today I didn’t go to the cow shen because It was too COLD at my house. So I just stayed in bed! WE might bake Banana muffins too if we have time to. Yesterday I made a card for my Nan Nan. For my Home-School learning for The Arts. Today all of the Stores shut like the Warehouse, Restaurants, Cafes, Mcdonalds and KFC. So Coveted 19 is not very nice but we will get through together!

It’s now 10 days to go which means it’s been 3 days in self-isolation. Also, My friend Amber and her Mum gave me 16 sheets of schoolwork so that’s good. She said if I do half a sheet a day it would last 30 whole days! I went to the cowshed AGAIN so two days in a row I have gone. Today I was thinking about me as a SUPERHERO! I was thinking the my SUPERHERO name would be FARM GIRL, and my SUPERPOWER would be to stop time so I could milk the cows in a split second. My SUPER Tool would be a water blazer, My transport would be a Motor-bike.

Ok, now it’s day two stuck at home doing school work. But I think that I get bored at home so this is what I did at home for school. I Folded the washing, Opened the windows + the Curtains, Cleaned my room, Made my Bed and, Went and helped Mum & Dad on the farm. I also finished my Chapter Challenge & I think it’s a !SUPERNOVA! My mum was very helpful with my learning at home. She even wants and printed out some math sheets for me. She also helped me with my spelling. Now I think this home school thing isn’t as bad as I thought I was.

The worst thing happened today at school. My School!CLOSED! It was the most heartbreaking thing that I have ever heard. Mr. Fraser came in and told us the heartbreaking news. He said that the school was closed for 4 whole weeks because of the Covid 19 AKA CoronaVirus. Also a few days ago my Best Friend Carlee got homeschooled by her mum (Kate) because of the CoronaVirus. Now I am in self-isolation in my house with my family for 4 weeks so I can’t go to the pools or the Skate Park or anything!

Chapter Challenge Research Centre (Pick & Mix) Week 9 Term 1

This is my Chapter Challenge for this week. I did Research Centre. I did Research Centre because I could choose whatever task I wanted because I did Research, A with Words, Creation Station and, Digital Design already. Research Centre was to research about Bat's or Waterfalls. I did Research about Bats because I didn't know a lot about Bats so I wanted To learn. We had I do the Chapter Challenge tasks from the other weeks because we didn't read our book because there were a lot of people away on Monday. One thing that I learned about Bats was that there are over 1000 Bat species of Bats in the WORLD! and I think that's pretty cool. Since school was closed I don't have any big pieces of paper so I had an idea to get two normal pieces of paper and taped them together to make a big piece of paper. I house we have a printer so that was lucky because I had to print pictures of Bats and my info onto my pieces of paper. The most challenging thing was picking the pictures of the Bats for my poster. The easiest thing was drawing all of the colourful dots.

Chapter Challenge Digital Design (Fantastic Favourite) Term 1 Week 8

This is Chapter Challenge I did Digital Design. I picked Digital Design because I could choose whatever task I wanted because I did Research, A with Words, Creation Station and, Digital Design already. Digital Design was to make a Fake Texted between two charters in the story. The charters that I chose were Cody's Cowboys and Sal. I chose Cowboys and Sal because Sal doesn't like Cody's Cowboys so I thought it would be a juice conversation. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I didn't just make and Fake Text and not do anything else. So I actually made a real-life phone. The thing that was the most challenging was painting the back of the phone. The easiest thing was making the phones look old. (I think a did a SUPERNOVA!) 

Chapter Challenge Creation Station Term 1 Week 7

This is my Chapter Challenge for this week. I did  Creation Station.  Creation Station was to make the Waterfall scene. I did Creation Station because it was the only thing that I had to do because I want to leave Pick & Mix and Fantastic Favourite for last. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I didn't just draw the scene I acutely made it out of Cardboard & Paper. The thing that was the most challenging was making Sal, Joe, Francie & little Humphry. The easiest thing was hot gluing the Water to the cave. ( I think I did a SUPERNOVA!)    

Chapter Challenge Digital Design Term 1 Week 6

This is Chapter Challenge I did Digital Design. Digital Design was to make a scene from the story so far! The scene that I did was when Sal comes up to speak in fount of all of the opposing teams & Joe, Francie & little Humphry. I did Digital Design because I wasn't here on Monday or Tuesday because of Cricket & Swimming Sports. But I still got my Chapter Challenge done and dusted. To make my Chapter Challenge a SUPERNOVA I Designed Joe, Francie, Little Humphry & Carrot and the audience & the Mayor & Sal on the stage. I Didn't trace anything but Carrot. I didn't even trace Sal, Joe, Francie, Little Humphry & the Mayor. The thing that was most challenging was printing it out and putting it onto a piece of paper. The easiest thing was putting the info in the clouds. (I think I did a SUPERNOVA!)
